T-bone Steak W Cilantro Butter

This was a very nice steak! I have never made a butter like this, isn't it called a compound butter Points? I was worried about tasting the tequilla since it basically is not cooked and I was not in the mood for a shot. But I couldn't taste the alcohol :) The only thing is that the recipe says to add the dab of butter to the steak then place on the grill for 5 minutes. By the picture, it was not place back on the grill, because my butter was completely melted left with a little pile of cilantro. Doesn't matter really, I added another dab or two and took a picture :) Yummy stuff!

Could I leave the cilantro out of the cilantro butter? Just don't like the stuff. I grow a lot of chives--I think that would do instead.

Truthfully, I have never used butter on a steak. I've heard of it but have never done it. I think chives are a great idea because some of us (ahem) don't like cilantro.
