Basalmic Glazed Salmon

- 2 6-8 oz filets of salmon(though honestly this can vary to your needs) shopping list
- 3 tbsp mustard powder shopping list
- 2 tsp salt shopping list
- 2 tsp black pepper shopping list
- 3/4 cup Basalmic vinegar shopping list
- 3/4 cup honey shopping list
- 2-3 oz of your preferred cooking oil shopping list
How to make it
- On a plate combine the mustard powder, salt and pepper
- in a small pan combine the vinegar and honey
- place the vinegar mixture over med-high heat and reduce by half
- crust the salmon on one side with the mustard
- heat a med oven safe skillet, or just a med skillet and add the oil
- pre-heat your oven to 300
- when the oil is hot place the salmon in the pan crust side down and let it get develop a good sear
- flip the salmon and let it develop a bit of a sear on the bottom
- if your skillet isn't ovensafe transfer the salmon to a baking dish
- spoon the balsalmic honey syrup over the salmon coating evenly
- bake the salmon for 10-12 minutes or until the fish flakes cleanly and is fully cooked

I really liked the sauce on this and was thinking it would be great on some chicken. There was a bit too much black pepper in this for my taste. My nose was running near the end of my meal. I would cut the amount in half next time. Excellent sauc...more
