Elaines Home-Fries with a Plus

- 4 to 6 medium sized Idaho red potatoes shopping list
- 1 large red onion shopping list
- 1 tbsp butter shopping list
- 3 tbsp olive oil shopping list
- juice of 1/2 lemon shopping list
- salt & pepper to preference shopping list
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder (not garlic salt) shopping list
- OR, 1 garlic clove, minced shopping list
- dried parsley for sprinkling shopping list
How to make it
- prepare the pan with olive oil & butter, melted
- cube the potatoes
- chop onion coarsely
- add to pan
- add salt, pepper and garlic
- fry until potatoes are lightly browned, then add the lemon juice and continue frying until golden
- sprinkle with parsely and serve
flavorful combo!
