My Cocktail Homage To Johnny Depp

Sister works at a Resort and she made this her signature drink after one too many viewings of a certain Pirate movie.

pineapple
soda
captain
morgans
rum
ginger
beer
lime
wedge
spicy
peppery
none

Ingredients

1 bottle of imported ginger beer (or home brewed if you're lucky) shopping list
Captain Morgan's spiced rum shopping list
pineapple soda (cuban section of the grocers' shelves) shopping list
wedge of lime shopping list
ice shopping list

How to make it

In a tall glass, fill with ice and add
one and half jiggers of spiced rum,
add 2/3 of the glass with pineapple soda
float til glass is full with ginger beer
squeeze a generous squeeze of lime
add straw
stir gently
drink slowly and enjoy!

Cheers to you, your sister, your recipe, pirates, and Mr. Depp, of course. I think after a couple of these...I'll be the piratey one....swinging from the candelier wearing only boots and a sash, maurading nearby vessels and pillaging and plundering my bf's treasure(s).

He loves it when I do that. Arghhh...matey. ;)
