Crock Pot Candy Recipe

Ingredients

16 ounces salted peanuts in a jar

16 ounces unsalted peanuts in a jar

4 ounces German chocolate, broken up

12 ounces semi chocolate chips

24 ounces white almond bark, cut up in small pieces

24 ounces chocolate almond bark, cut up in small pieces

Directions

Put peanuts in bottom of crock pot.

Put in chocolates and almond bark.

Cook on low heat for 3 hours.

DO NOT LIFT LID

Cut off heat and let stand for 2 hours.

Then mix throughly using a spoon.

Drop bite size pieces on wax paper.

Can I ask a dumb question. I'm not asking out of sarcasm, I'm really curious. Why would you do this in a crock pot over several hours when you could melt the chocolate on the stove, mix it up and let it set in minutes? Do the flavors meld better this way?
