Professional Sicilian Lasagna

- 3/4 pound of sweet Italian sausage shopping list
- 3/4 pound of ground beef shopping list
- 10 cups of red sauce ( see my other recipes) shopping list
- 4 cups of cheese sauce (see my other recipes shopping list
- 16 ounces of ricotta cheese. shopping list
- 1 lb spinach shopping list
- 2 egg shopping list
- 1 pound shredded mozzarella cheese shopping list
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese shopping list
- 16 lasagna noodles shopping list
- Salt and pepper shopping list
- 3 Tbs Oregano shopping list
How to make it
- Make an order of my famous red sauce. See my other recipes.
- Make an order of my famous cheese sauce. See my other recipes.
- Take your lasagna pan, and fill it with hot water. Soak your Lasagna noodles in the water while you are preparing the rest of the ingredients.
- Brown the sausage, place to the side.
- Brown the ground beef, place to the side.
- Thaw and drain spinach. Combine with ricotta cheese, eggs, and a tbs of salt and pepper. Mix well, place to side.
- Combine mozzarella cheese and parm. Mix well with Oregano, put to side.
- Drain and remove the lasagna noodle you have soaked.
- In the bottom of the pan, poor 3 cups of red sauce.
- Layer 4 noodles down.
- Spread Italian sausage.
- Cover with lots of sauce and cheese.
- Layer 4 noodles on top.
- Spread Ground beef.
- Add cheese sauce on top.
- Cover with cheese.
- Layer 4 noodles on top.
- Spread ricotta spinach mixture.
- Cover with sauce and cheese.
- Layer 4 noodles on top.
- Cover with sauce then cheese.
- Bake at 400 degrees until top begins to brown and is crisp around the edges.
- Let rest at least 40 minutes before cutting.
