Baby Potatoes In Chinese Sauce

- baby potatoes – 250 gms shopping list
- oil – 3 Tbsp (Use non stick pan) shopping list
- salt - to taste shopping list
- For the Sauce shopping list
- oil – 1 tbsp shopping list
- Finely chopped garlic- 1 tsp – 1-1/2 tsp shopping list
- Finely chopped chilli – 1 tsp shopping list
- salt – a pinch shopping list
- sugar – a pinch shopping list
- soya sauce – 1 tbsp shopping list
- Chilli sauce – 1 tbsp shopping list
- tomato sauce – 1 tbsp shopping list
- corn flour – 1 tbsp (mixed with water 50 ml without any lumps) shopping list
- spring onions – 2-3 finely chopped shopping list
- Fried white seasame seeds (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Peel the baby potatoes. Pierce each potato with fork 3 to 4 times to ensure it cooks evenly. Take a pan. Put 3 tbsp oil. Fry the potatoes on a low/ medium flame. Cover the lid for 5 - 10 min. Remove the lid, Sprinkle salt and cook until it has a light golden colour. Keep aside
- 2. Take other pan. Cook on high flame. (You need to be really quick, If you can’t be quick do it on a medium flame). Put 1 tbsp oil. Put finely chopped garlic, fry it until golden brown. Put finely chopped chilli fry it. Then put salt, sugar, Soya sauce, chilli sauce, tomato sauce, spring onions & corn flour (mixed with water 50 ml without any lumps) all at once. Keep stirring until it gets a thick consistency (sauce like consistency). Now Put the roasted baby potatoes and stir (allow It to blend). Serve Hot. (optional - Sprinkle fried white seasame seeds.)

Its really tasty .It tastes like chilly chicken.I think we can also use baby corn and cottage cheese with this recipe.
