How to make it

  • Place steaks in glass dish (sealable). Pour wine over steaks. Coat each side with hot sauce. Coat each side with steak rub. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Heat butter in skillet on stove-top over medium heat. Sear steaks on each side for 2 minutes.
  • Turn broiler on 425F with broiler pan in oven. Transfer steaks to broiling pan. Pour half of honey in a circle about an inch from outer edge of steak. Broil for 3 minutes. Turn steaks, pour remaining honey on using same technique. Broil for another 3 minutes. The steaks will be true medium at this point. If you'd prefer them to be cooked longer, feel free.
