Mckeni's Sinn-A-Melts

- 2 loaves frozen bread dough, or 2lb loaves worth of homemade, thawed but still cool. DO NOT LET RISE. shopping list
- 1 heaping or packed cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2t freshly grated nutmeg shopping list
- 1 1/2-2 tablespoons cinnamon shopping list
- 1 cup butter shopping list
- dash of salt(unless you use salted butter, then just omit this) shopping list
For Icing
- 1/2 stick butter, softened shopping list
- 1 block cream cheese, softened shopping list
- 2-2 1/2 cups powdered sugar shopping list
- 1t vanilla shopping list
- about 2T milk shopping list
How to make it
- Melt butter in microwave safe dish.
- Add cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar and stir to combine. See Photo
- Break apart 1 loaf of the bread dough into about 1/2 inch sized roundish bits into bottom of sprayed or greased jumbo muffin tins or individual ramekins. See Photo
- Spoon 2-3t of butter/cinnamon mix over each first layer of dough. See Photo
- Top with another layer of dough bits and then spoon on remaining cinnamon mixture. See Photo
- Cover loosely and set aside to rise for about 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes until bread is golden brown, cinnamon sugar mixture is bubbly and all are cooked through. See Photo
For Icing
- Combine all ingredients other than milk in electric or stand mixer and beat well. Add milk a lil at a time to get a drizzleable consistency. :)
- Sinn-A-Melts were easily removed from my pans, which I was unsure about, so I drizzled the icing over them after I plated them, but while they were still warm.
