This is a new one for me - I gotta try this when my granddaughter is here...she can do the rolling!

We used to do this too... It was the only way to have home made ice cream....Highly delicious....

Have GOT to try this!!

Will try this one. Love homemade ice cream, just don't have the machine. Now I don't need one. We drink alot of coffee, so now I'll save the cans. Thanks for sharing:)

How wonderful! :)

I remember this well! Also remember the crank ice cream churn. I remember I didn't mind at all having sore arms turning the crank. Ice Cream is my favorite dessert of all time. I make it even in the winter. Thanks for posting this one.

Thanks, I don't have an ice cream maker, but would love to make my own.

Used to do this when I was a kid, too, only we used a syrup bucket with a handle and turned it back and forth inside a washtub filled with ice and salt! Do you go as far back as me, Chet ?? lol !

I remember doing this in Kindergarden. I swear, the first warm day in Wisconsin I will be outside in the back yard making ice cream with my nephews!
