Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Meatloaf

  • Combine all ingredients and incorporate well. Form into a loaf in a large glass pan.
  • Ketchup

  • Combine ingredients in a small bowl. Brush onto meatloaf, even the sides.
  • Bake for at one hour. Let stand 5-10 minutes before serving.

    I used 1.5 lb's of lean ground beef, to 3/4 cup of milk and bread crumbs. That ratio work perfect for us, I think if I used extra lean beef I would have added all the milk and bread crumbs. I was prepared to add more if I needed, but the mixture seemed nice and moist. I only added a few dashes of Worcestershire as well. I free formed the mixture into a log on a baking sheet and baked for about an 1hr 20 minutes. The kids and I both loved it!! I'm not a big meatloaf fan either, but I will definitely make this again! :)

    I reckon this sounds pretty darn good.
    I like the sweet topping,and,not to over step my bounds...
    ~but~
    I would put a pinch of sage,and,a pinch of nutmeg in the bison mixture.
    I like using this particular type of protien, it is a leaner kind of choice.and quite nice to incorporate into ones culinary.

    I need to try this bison! I seen it in the store, but it's so expensive here. I love meatloaf and this recipe looks very good!
