I want to thank jo_jo_ba for this recipe. Last week I posted a recipe for caramelized onions and she mentioned she loved them with Brussells sprouts and dried cranberries. I would have never thought of such a great combination of flavor. Read more Well, it sounded so good I made it last night. They were so fantastic I thought I'd share. Ingredients
- 1 10.oz. box frozen baby brussells sprouts (fresh would be better but couldn't find any) shopping list
- 2 medium onions, thinly sliced shopping list
- Small handful dried cranberries shopping list
- olive oil to saute shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Thaw brussells sprouts and halve lengthwise
- Caramelize onions....Caramelized Onions
- Remove from pan
- Add brussells sprouts, salt and pepper; saute until golden
- Add onions back to pan and sprinkle with cranberries
- Mix to combine
