Ingredients

How to make it

  • Combine all ingredients other than beans and sesame seeds, in a small bowl and whisk well.
  • Add to beans in a large zipper style bag or container with lid.
  • Shake or toss to coat.
  • Add beans to a cast iron pan or grill basket and grill over high heat just until tender and cooked through but don't over cook them. Probably at least 15 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with sesame seeds just prior to serving.
  • *I was originally going to do this with asparagus, but the beans were ready to eat!

    souplovingnicole ate it and said...
    I tend to get stuck in a rut when it comes to vegetables to serve with my Asian inspired grilled meat and usually just grab some snow peas or broccoli. This was a very nice change. The hoisin mixed with the oyster sauce gave it a perfect sweetness and the sesame oil brought out a nice smokiness in the end. The asparagus will be popping up out of the ground soon and I can't wait to try this recipe with that.

    I do this with asparagus all the time...I'll try with green beans...maybe even roast them in the oven hmmmmm....

    Sounds great I always have fresh green beans on hand, like to juice them a couple times a week. The juice can really lower blood sugar. Now the green bean juice alone tastes horrible so I usually add some other vegetables
