Ingredients

How to make it

  • Add the cubed chicken (or pork) to your slow cooker. Add the rest of the ingredients, mix.
  • Cook on low for 5-7 hours (depending on your slow cooker), or until meat is cooked throughly.
  • You can serve in a warm flour tortilla or serve in a bowl topped with little cliantro and your favorite shredded cheese:)

I'm so glad I came across this in my box! This is perfect for a busy day, took me 10 minutes to throw into the Crockpot and was inhaled by the whole family :) Thanks Marie, this will be made again! Added a little more in the IMI -------> Slow Cooker Chile Verde

This looks super yummy Marie. Nice pic! Tomatillos are still new to me and I think they're awesome. I'm going to have to look hard to find a can of them but I'm pretty sure I can do it. I'm not a huge fan of sundried tomatoes.....is it a biggy if I just sub fresh tomatoes or would that add too much juice? Love the cilantro and the jalopeno. Can't wait to try. :) Nice post!
