Slow Cooker Chile Verde

- 2 lbs b/s chicken breast or b/s thighs cubed (or pork) shopping list
- 16 oz salsa verde shopping list
- 1 12 oz can tomatillos, drained, cut in half (or 1 lb fresh) shopping list
- 1 onion, diced shopping list
- 3 sundried tomatoes, diced shopping list
- 1 tsp cumin shopping list
- 1 tsp chili powder shopping list
- 1 jalapeno, seeded & diced (I use 2, 1 seeded, we like spicy) shopping list
- 3-4 garlic cloves, minced shopping list
- 1 tbsp cilantro, chopped shopping list
- salt & freshly ground pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Add the cubed chicken (or pork) to your slow cooker. Add the rest of the ingredients, mix.
- Cook on low for 5-7 hours (depending on your slow cooker), or until meat is cooked throughly.
- You can serve in a warm flour tortilla or serve in a bowl topped with little cliantro and your favorite shredded cheese:)
