Ingredients

How to make it

  • Melt butter in sauce pan (I prefer to brown the butter before proceeding)
  • Stir in honey and chipotle and bring to boil
  • Lower heat and simmer for 5 minutes
  • Season salmon with S&P
  • Line baking dish with foil. (If only making 1 filet/steak, raise the foil close around the salmon creating edges all around to keep juices/glaze close.)
  • Spoon glaze over salmon. Reserving some to spoon on after cooked
  • Bake @ 400 for 12-18 minutes depending on thickness. ( Mine took about 14)

Delicious! I did quadruple the chipotle and added lemon to serve with but what's not to love, here? I'm always nervous about trying a new salmon recipe, though, especially when it's somewhat sweet.. But, the honey butter in this was delicious, and, as I said, I did add quite a bit more chipotle powder for taste. :) Thanks, MP!! Added my pic.

This was easy and delicious. It had just enough heat to hit the back of the throat. Not overpowering at all. I halved the glaze for my little fillet. Thanks for the easy weeknight and delicious dinner. Added a couple of pictures and a thread in IMI 9/3/13
