I start by heating the olive oil, add the shrimp, cook for a minute add the rest of the ingredients except the cheese and cook for a few minutes more. add a ladle of the pasta water and the firm pasta. Toss and Plate sprinkle with the cheese and serve.
* Make sure not to over cook the pasta it will continue to cook and absorb the flavor when you toss it together with the shrimp ans sauce.

I'll have to try this. We just had plain old fried shrimp sandwiches for Supper. Served with a bowl of Gumbo. When I make Gumbo, it just takes on a life of its own. I end up with way too much. Do you have a Gumbo recipe you could share?
