Directions
  1. Combine flour, baking powder and salt.

  3. Add sugar and beat until fluffy.

  6. Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour or until easy to handle.
  7. Roll out the dough and cut with favorite cookie cutters.
  8. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 375* for 7 to 8 min. Do not over cook or they will not be soft..

Michellem, I make cut outs every holiday, so I will be trying this one for sure...LOVE a good, crispy cut out cookie!!

Hey! This one is not to crispy unless you leave it in the oven a little longer. I like them soft so I take them out while they are still a little puffy looking. I hope you enjoy!

Yum! I collect cookie recipes so that I can find the ones that will keep my cookie jar full! This is a definite keeper =D

I love sugar cookies! These are a winner!

Can't wait to try these, they look great.

This sounds great, sugar cookie recipes are all so similar, but it's amazing how different they can taste. I'll try this one today, as I am making cookies!! Thanks for the post!!

Your cookies were a big hit!! The recipe was easy to follow and the cookies turned out just fantastic!! Where in N.J. is your husband from? My husband, Jim, is from the Toms River area, I always here about the cranberry bogs and all the muscles and Mystic Island, I could go on and on!! He hasn't been back up there since around 92' or so, so I'm sure nothing is like it was when he was younger, his brother Bobby still lives up there in Mystic Island area (I think), he's a chef and everytime he visits, we get these huge, long, incredibly delicious hot dogs and nice huge bagels which I can't find anywhere down here in Georgia!! Well enjoyed chatting and again, thanks for the new family sugar cookie recipe!!

Isn't it amazing how many 'sugar cookie' recipes there are out there! yet their all so different too. Pretty picture by the way.
