Wasp Nest Cake Recipe

How to make it

  • In a saucepan mix the milk and pudding mix together and bring to a boil.
  • Remove from heat and add the dry yellow cake mix and stir well,(batter will be thick)and spread into a greased 9x19 pan.
  • Sprinkle the butterscotch chips over all.
  • Bake in a preheated 350 oven,30-35 mins.
  • When cake is completely cool,sprinkle with Confectioner's Sugar.(optional)

    It is very good and easy.Sorry the name scared you.:-)
    In a way the cake sort of resembles a wasp nest on top guess thus the name.
    You can use chocolate cake mix,and chocolate pudding and chocolate chips and that is very good also.

    I have made this cake with devils food cake mix and chocolate chips and it was great.(also used chocolate pudding,to me they are like a delicious brownie).

    If you like butterscotch, this is heaven. Quick to make with stuff I keep in my pantry. Cake is not heavy and thick. Gonna try to change flavor and try devils food cake mix and semi-sweet morsels.
