Intoxicated Chicken Wings

- 3 pounds of chicken wings shopping list
- 3 tablespoons garlic powder shopping list
- 1 large onion, finely minced shopping list
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce shopping list
- 3 teaspoons worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1/4 cup olive oil shopping list
- 3 tablespoons honey shopping list
- 3 teaspoons Frank's Hot Sauce®, more for more heat shopping list
- 1/2 cup dark rum shopping list
- Dipping sauce of choice shopping list
How to make it
- Prepare the wings by cutting off the wing tips. (Do this with a sharp knife, cutting off the wing tip at the elbow joint.)
- Note: save the wing tips for making a chicken stock.
- In a bowl, whisk together all of the ingredients until well blended.
- Put wings into zipper lock baggies and pour marinade evenly into each baggie.
- Shake a bit to make sure all the wings are covered.
- Place in dish(es) in case baggies leak and put into the refrigerator.
- Marinade overnight for best flavor.
- Grill wings over medium-hot grill for 10 minutes, basting once or twice with marinade during cooking.
- You can also Broil instead of grill, for 20 minutes, basting occasionally with marinade.
- Serve with dipping sauce of choice.
