Ingredients

How to make it

  • Prepare the wings by cutting off the wing tips. (Do this with a sharp knife, cutting off the wing tip at the elbow joint.)
  • Note: save the wing tips for making a chicken stock.
  • In a bowl, whisk together all of the ingredients until well blended.
  • Put wings into zipper lock baggies and pour marinade evenly into each baggie.
  • Shake a bit to make sure all the wings are covered.
  • Place in dish(es) in case baggies leak and put into the refrigerator.
  • Marinade overnight for best flavor.
  • Grill wings over medium-hot grill for 10 minutes, basting once or twice with marinade during cooking.
  • You can also Broil instead of grill, for 20 minutes, basting occasionally with marinade.
  • Serve with dipping sauce of choice.

I think my printer is smoking from over use. I have never tried rum with chicken. Marinating it overnight sounds great! Well, by this weekend my canning should be done and, of course, it will be football weekend so these will be in order. Thanks Jaie :D
