Who doesn't like a buttery mushroom crusty bread? Terrific quick appetizer to make like a pizza for guests. But , what I do like it with is a cup of soup, salad and wine for an easy meal. :)

Ingredients
- 1 package (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1 pint fresh mushrooms, sliced (approx 2 cups)
- 3 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan or romano cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Optional: Add a little sliced shallot or roasted garlic for extra special taste.
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Separate dough into triangles and place on 13" baking stone with points in center.
- Press crescent roll dough together using hands and pinch seams together.
- Toss mushrooms and butter together.
- Arrange mushrooms on top of dough.
- Sprinkle with cheese and seasonings.
- Bake 15-20 minutes.
- Cut into wedges or squares.
- Serve warm.

That picture got my attention before I could read the recipe - does that ever look GOOD!!! This recipe is so easy, and I can see it going with a nice cup of soup (and the wine, of course!) for a tasty quick meal...nice post!
