The Real Mccoy Italian Meatballs Recipe
An old family recipe..add to sauce , or use as appetizer with dipping sauce

Ingredients
  • Large loaf 2 day old Italian bread
  • garlic minced 3 cloves
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 2 lbs med fat chop meat
  • Italian style bread crumbs
  • 1 cup grated parmesan or romano cheese
  • 2 separated eggs

Directions
  1. In a very large bowl place bread broken into chunks
  2. pour condensed milk over bread and let soak in a bit
  3. have to use your hands on this one
  4. knead bread and milk mixture
  5. add meat
  6. crumbs
  7. cheese
  8. knead to mix
  9. add two egg yolks and mix in
  10. add two well beaten and fluffy egg whites
  11. add garlic
  12. mix all ingredients well
  13. add more milk or crumbs if needed for right consistency
  14. form into large or small meatballs
  15. place gradually into near-boiling sauce
  16. as they rise to top continue adding
  17. when all the little guys are in the sauce
  18. lower to simmer and cook for 20 minutes

OH WOW!! How perfect! These get a 5 before I even try them! These will be on top of some good italian bread with sauce and mozzerlla cheese on Sat. for some meatball subs to serve the gang when the VOLS play!!!


Condensed milk? like the dessert kind with sweetener??
