How to make it

  • Trim excess fat from roast and place in slow cooker
  • combine cranberry sauce, sugar, mustard,and cloves
  • pour over roast
  • cover and cook on low 6 to 7 hours until meat is tender
  • remove roast and keep warm
  • skim fat from juices
  • measure two cups of liquid adding water if needed
  • pour into saucepan
  • bring to a boil over medium heat
  • combine cornstarch and water
  • stir into juices cook and stir until thickened
  • season with salt to taste
  • serve gravy with sliced pork
  • baked sweet potatoes and green beans go great with this

    this is my new favorite recipe, thanks so much! i love it. the spice blend is perfect. i'll probably make this at least 3 times a month. it freezes well too (i only cook for me and my 3 LOL)
