Found this after a local farm market started selling them. Only 1 crust. Unique baking method and a delicious, homey, fall pie.

What a funny way to cook a pie. Does it brown? I like apples and I've never made a pie crust so this would be an adventure for me to try that is for sure!!! Love cinnamon, it is a favorite flavor.

I've heard of doing this but never tried it, guess I'll have to give it a whirl.

I always make my Thanksgiving pies like this. I got my recipe years ago from an Amish cookbook & have been doing it since. You will all love this method & it does brown well. So does the bag.
