Vodka Cherry Tomatoes With Herbed Garlic Salt

- 1 1/2 cups cherry or grape tomatoes (I like the grape. They're smaller) shopping list
- 2/3 cup vodka shopping list
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 12 drops hot pepper sauce shopping list
- 1 clove garlic, crushed shopping list
- FOR THE SALT: shopping list
- 1/3 cup kosher or sea salt shopping list
- zest of 1/2 lemon shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper, or to taste shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed (I use a mortar and pestle) shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, or more to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Cut a small cross in base of each tomato. Place in bowl.
- Add vodka, Worcestershire, hot pepper sauce and garlic and gently stir.
- Cover and chill 24 hours up to 2 days.
- Combine salt ingredients. Let stand at least 2 hours up to weeks.
- Drain tomatoes, reserving vodka for another use.
- Serve tomatoes with shallow bowl of dipping salt.
