I make these... and on the grill too! Living here I have learned to cook just about everything on the grill to keep from heating up the house.. Tip.. don't put pizza stone on grill... that puppy blew up... ka-boom!

What is the different betwen scalop potato and potato au gratin, is it in the cheese, i am still torn betwen make this kind of potato or mashed potato for my christmast buffet, got any suggestion, btw the potatoe look yummy

I want to make scalloped potato, i think it will be good with the roast turkey but the thing is i also want to make chicken noodle ( my husband family tradition must have and they go with mashed potatoe, i think i am gonna cook mashed potatoes, i am just the cook, so i just follow the audience, thanks for explained the diff betwen scalloped and au gratin , i used to think they are just the same, i am still learning amreicann cooking .
