Slow Cooker Scalloped Au Gratiny Kinda Potatoes

- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar shopping list
- 1 cup water shopping list
- 8 to 10 potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced shopping list
- 1 large sweet onion, coarsely chopped shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- ground black pepper to taste shopping list
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded shopping list
- 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 can cream of celery, mushroom or chicken soup shopping list
- 1 teaspoon paprika shopping list
How to make it
- In bowl, dissolve cream of tartar and water.
- As you slice potatoes, put slices in dissolved mixture.
- When finished, toss potatoes and then drain.
- Layer half the potato slices in bottom of greased slow cooker.
- Sprinkle with half the onion, half the cheese and 2 tablespoons flour.
- Repeat.
- Spoon and spread soup over the top.
- Sprinkle with paprika.
- Cover and cook on LOW setting 8 to 10 hours.
