Ingredients

How to make it

  • In bowl, dissolve cream of tartar and water.
  • As you slice potatoes, put slices in dissolved mixture.
  • When finished, toss potatoes and then drain.
  • Layer half the potato slices in bottom of greased slow cooker.
  • Sprinkle with half the onion, half the cheese and 2 tablespoons flour.
  • Repeat.
  • Spoon and spread soup over the top.
  • Sprinkle with paprika.
  • Cover and cook on LOW setting 8 to 10 hours.

    These sound great. Do you really have to cook them 8 to 10 hours? I'm thinking 1 hour on high and a few hours on low.
