Butterscotch Pie Recipe

This is a creamy custard pie,great with some nuts on top and ice cream or just whipped topping

Ingredients
- 9" premade pie crust
- 1c.packed light brown sugar
- 4 lg. eggs
- 2 c.half and half
- 2t.vanilla extract
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.Place pie crust on a foil lined cookie sheet. Beat together sugar,eggs,half and half and vanilla in a bowl using wire whisk.
- Bake 40 to 45 mins. or till filling is set. Place dish on wire rack to cool. Serve at room temperature or refrigerate

Hi Pleclare! My Mom used to make this, sometimes with a graham cracker crust and sometimes not, when I was kid. All my siblings prefered her strawberry pie - but not me! Butterscotch was MUCH better! Thank you for the post!
