Ingredients
  • Grands Buttermilk Bisquits or Flakey Bisquits (however many you wish to fix)
  • Powder sugar, regular sugar mixed with cinnamon, or you can take can chocolate frosting and glaze them with it.
  • Oil for deep frying

Directions
  1. Separate the bisquits, cut a small (one inch round) hole in the center of each.
  2. Drop in hot oil and fry on each side till golden brown
  3. Fry the dougnut holes also.
  4. Put sugars in separate brown lunch type bags and drop the cooked dougnuts into sack and shake up. Or ice with can frosting of your choice.
  5. ENJOY! Quick and Easy ;-) You'll love these.

I MAKE THIS BUT I CUT THE BISCUTS IN FORTHS AND FRY IN HOT OIL. ROLL THEM IN SUGAR.

That's a good idea, bite size pieces.

Sounds great! Good with a ganache frosting.. I'll have to try these for sure...

Oh yes, never thought of that, that would be real good. What a good idea, thanks.

This was a quick and easy treat last weekend for my grandkids. They had a blast shaping the doughnuts and shaking them after grandma did the frying. What was even better was that there was very little mess to be cleaned up afterwards. Thanks for posting.
