Yes, this does look great but I wonder too how well it would work with fresh onions as I've never seen the frozen variety in our area stores ... would you have to saute and squeeze-dry them first? Thoughts?

I think I would saute' some onions instead of buying frozen ones. May give it a different flavor & consistency,tho.
