Polish Cottage Cheese And Noodles Recipe

I love this passed- down family dish. So great as a side or main dish.

Ingredients
- 1 lb. egg noodles- wide or twist ) I like klushki's the best.(most like homemade)
- 2 large containers of cottage cheese
- 4 large onions
- 3/4 lb. butter or margarine (I use butter)
Directions
- Fry onion in butter until brown.Turn off heat.
- Boil noodles and drain
- Add noodles to onion/butter, mix well and add more butter to taste
- Add cottage cheese, sprinkle with black pepper(if you desire)
- Mix well and cover for 5 to 10 min.

This was one of my dear mother-in-laws signature dishes. She added a little something extra and I could never put a finger on what it was. She also sprinkled fresh dill over the top. Thank you for posting this recipe!!!
