Very novel idea and since I am a vegetarian, this makes my froggie lips water. I like it.

I'm gonna make this on Sunday for a little party. The theme is "Real Man Cuisine". I'll see who is man enough for the radishes.

I used Beauty Heart and Daikon radishes (in addition to the turnips) and red wine (because that's what I had open). I turned up the oven temp to 425 degrees (it was a roasting recipe after all) and might increase it to 450-475 next time - I want the honey to caramelize the veggies more. All in all, a delicious way to get me to eat radishes!

Thanks A K I hope the experiment works out. I think you could use a wide variety of veges in this as long as you control the sizes of the different kinds (that's why I halve the radishes but cube the turnips) so they finish simultaneously. However, you are a culinary genius (really folks he is!) so I'm sure that it will be tasty. Let me know how it goes.

I like this bacause few people think to roast radishes but they have great flavor when cooked. The mustard enhances the earthy flavor. The soy sauce and honey give it a slight glaze.
