That Chocolate Cobbler

- 2 sticks margarine or butter, melted shopping list
- 2 C sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 6 Tbl cocoa shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 1 C flour shopping list
- Pinch of salt shopping list
- 1/4 C pecan pieces shopping list
How to make it
- Cream together the butter, sugar, vanilla and cocoa.
- Lightly beat the eggs and add to sugar mixture.
- Add flour.
- Blend in the nuts.
- Pour the batter into an ungreased 8 X 8 inch pan. Place this pan inside another larger pan, the bottom which is covered with water.
- As it bakes, the top will form a crust, but the inside will remain pudding-like.
- Bake in pre-heated 325 oven for 45 minutes.
- Spoon into bowls and serve hot with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream on top.
