That Chocolate Cobbler Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 sticks margarine or butter, melted
  • 2 C sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 6 Tbl cocoa
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 C flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/4 C pecan pieces

Directions
  1. Cream together the butter, sugar, vanilla and cocoa.
  2. Lightly beat the eggs and add to sugar mixture.
  3. Add flour.
  4. Blend in the nuts.
  5. Pour the batter into an ungreased 8 X 8 inch pan. Place this pan inside another larger pan, the bottom which is covered with water.
  6. As it bakes, the top will form a crust, but the inside will remain pudding-like.
  7. Bake in pre-heated 325 oven for 45 minutes.
  8. Spoon into bowls and serve hot with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream on top.

OH WOW!!! Cannot wait to try this!


The cobbler turned out wonderful and was delicious just don't do what i did and pour the batter into the pan before realizing you didn't add the flour because it doesn't say to do so in the directions.
