How to make it

  • DIRECTIONS
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Beat the eggs and the vanilla with a spoon. Blend in the chocolate syrup. Fill emptied chocolate syrup can with vegetable oil and add to bowl. Add the flour to bowl. Fill can with sugar and add to bowl. Stir well and pour into a lightly greased 9x13 inch pan.
  • Bake 40-45 minutes at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Ice after cooling or leave plain.

    This sounds soooo chocoholicy.... and so me!
    We can't get the chocolate syrup here, so could I make my own with cocoa powder, sugar and water?

    Hi I need help with this recipe. Why do you ice the cake ? Oh no I think you mean put frosting on the cake. I am a cook and to ice say pasta or vegetables means to put them into an ICE BATH " ice cubes and cold water".
    I am a literal person, it takes me a while but I am catching on.

    We made these in cupcake papers (I was just too lazy to grease the cake pan) and it made about 3 dozen lovely little cupcakes! We ate them with a spoon though b/c we couldn't wait for them to cool down all the way.
