Battered Fried Pork Chop

I used to use nutmeg on the pork chops, but my hubby hates nutmeg, so I had to change the recipe.
Ingredients
- 4-6 med. pork chops shopping list
- 1 cup of flour shopping list
- 1 tablespoon salt shopping list
- 1 tablespoon pepper shopping list
- 1 tablespoon sage or poultry seasoning - sounds like a lot, but it's mixed with the flour, so it doesn't all go on the chops. shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 3 tablespoons Milk- I like to use evaporated, it gives a richer, creamyier flavor shopping list
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil - enough to coat bottom of pan pretty good. shopping list
How to make it
- Rinse Pork Chops. Mix Flour, salt, pepper and sage in a pie pan, Mix Eggs and Milk in another pie pan. Start heating Vegetable Oil on medium heat in an iron skillet - you don't have to use an iron skillet, but EVERYTHING tastes better cooked in an iron skillet. Coat Pork Chops in flour mixture, then in egg mixture, then back in flour mixture and place them in the skillet. If you cook on medium heat, the Chops will cook all the way through without burning.
