How to make it

  • Combine chicken, cream of chicken soup, and sour cream, spread into a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish. Combine crumbs and butter, sprinkle over chicken mixture. Bake, uncovered, at 350F for 30-35 minutes or until bubbly. Garnish with parsley sprig and red bell pepper rings, if desired.

    Thanks for the variations, both of you. I like to tweak my recipes for a change of taste. I'll be trying this with the stuffing mix, and definitely with the cheese. We're all about the cheese here, too, Sparow! LOL

    Sounds great--my recipe is similar to sparow64 with the PF stuffing (minus the cheese) it's great that there can be so many yummy variations to a single recipe!

    This is great! I make a similar chicken casserole, using pepperidge farm seasoned stuffing mix instead of crackers, and adding a cup or two of shredded cheese (we are all about the melted cheese at our house - LOL)...everyone loves it! Thanks for posting, haven't made it in a while and I need to...will try crackers this time!
