Little Gouda Bites Recipe
These are great little finger foods for a party or brunch... Great around Christmas time...

Ingredients
  • 1 8 oz tube of refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 5 ounces Gouda cheese, cut into 24 pieces

Directions
  1. Unroll crecent dough into one long rectangle; seal seams and perforations.
  2. Sprinkle with garlic powder.
  3. Cut into 24 pieces; light press into bottom and up the sides of ungreased miniature muffin cups.
  4. Bake at 375 degrees for 3 minutes.
  5. Place a piece of cheese in each cup and bake 8 to 10 minutes longer or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  6. Serve warm.

This sounds great! I've made something close - press the seams on the dough and wrap a whole round of gouda in it. Bake 'til done and slice. Bite size will be easier. kinda' embarrassed I didn't think of it. :-) Thanks for the post!

I've made these with SMOKED gouda before. Wow. You must try it with the smoked cheese! So good. :)
