Gobbler In A Pot

- 6 chicken breast halves or 1 small turkey breast shopping list
- 4 cups water + shopping list
- 1 tablespoon salt shopping list
- 1 (9x9 inch) pan cornbread, cooled and crumbled shopping list
- 8 slices day-old bread, torn into small pieces shopping list
- 4 eggs, beaten shopping list
- 1 onion, chopped fine shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper shopping list
- 3 teaspoons poultry seasoning or sage shopping list
- 4 cups chicken broth or 2 cans chicken broth shopping list
- 2 10.75 ounce cans condensed cream of chicken soup shopping list
- 3 tablespoons butter or margarine shopping list
How to make it
- Place chicken in crock pot with 4 cups water + 1 Tablespoon salt.
- Cook on high 2 hours, or until cooked through.
- Cool, and cut into pieces.
- Save broth for mix.

- Stir together in same crock pot, chicken, cornbread, bread, eggs, onion, salt, pepper, poulty seasoning or sage, chicken broth, and chicken soup.
- Stir until well blended.
- Dot with butter or margarine.

- Cook on low for 3 to 4 hours in covered crock pot.
- Remove lid, and fluffwith fork.
- Let rest 15 minutes before serving.
