How to make it

  • Cook beef and drain. Stir in beans, tomato sauce, taco sauce, chili powder and garlic powder. Heat to boiling. Place chips in ungreased 12x8x2-inch baking dish. Top with beef mixture. Spread with sour cream. Sprinkle with onions, tomatoes and cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 350F for 20-30 minutes or until hot. Arrange additional tortilla chips around edge of casserole. Serve with shredded lettuce, chili peppers and taco sauce, if desired.

This went over HUGE!! Can be served as nachos or as dish...also could be used as burrito/taco filling. I plan to add nacho cheese sauce when cooking the chili beans next time, to make more of a chili cheese taste. But these are great as is. Highly recommended!!!!

Do you like avocados? this would be so great with some fresh ones chopped right up on top, not that it doesn't look good without them, but I'm just saying... yum.
