Use this for a cheap alternative to store bought stinky carpet deodorizers. Depending on what essential oils you use you could even keep fleas away.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup borax
  • 1 cup baking soda
  • up to 15 drops of your favorite essential oil, or two. I like to use Bergamot or Jasmine.
  • 1 used and cleaned out Parmesan cheese container.

Directions
  1. Combine dry ingredients first in glass bowl, then add your essential oils/oil mixing well. Pour into your container and shake it all up.
  2. sprinkle the mixed powder on the carpet, let powder sit on the carpet for a few hours or overnight and then vaccum.
  3. Keeps well for weeks or more I've never had it longer than a month as it's always used up. But It should last longer than that.

Thanks, this looks wonderful.

I am going to forward this to my mother as she has a problem with the carpet just outside the guest bathroom. Thanx
