Ingredients
  • 12 OZ PACKAGE CHIPS (CHOCOLATE, BUTTERSCOTCH,PEANUT BUTTER OR MINT, OR ANY COMBINATION)
  • 1/2 (5 1/2 OZ) CAN CHINESE CHOP SUEY NOODLES
  • 1/2 CUP WALNUTS
  • 1/2 CUP COCONUT

Directions
  1. DO NOT TRY AMD MAKE TOO MUCH AT ONE TIME
  2. MELT CHIPS IN THE TOP OF A DOUBLE BOILRT
  3. STIR IN NOODLES, NUTS AND COCONUT
  4. DROP BY SPOONFULS ONTO WAX PAPER AND COOL
  5. EAT THEM ALL UP

I posted a recipe very much like this one to my profile earlier today too. I leave out the coconut though, not my thing. We call them chow mein noodles, but they're yummy all the same.


I love haystacks, but it's been so many years since I made them, that I had completely forgotten about them! Thanks for reminding me, I think I'll make some for the holidays. :-)


Yum...this sounds very different,just the kind of recipe I like to try!


I will be making these next weekend for the kids thanks...


Sounds good! I have never tried the coconut or walnuts before! They are good with butterscotch chips, peanut butter & marshmallows added to it.


My kids will love these!
