I have made these cookies for years. Maybe you have too, but just in case you haven't, this is it! Make them big or small....they always disappear!

I compared it to a recipe from my mother's cousin called "Alma's Awesome Cookies"...yep, same recipe, and these are soooooo good. I haven't made them in a few years now (it makes a BIG batch), but your post has reminded me of them, and they will surely be made by me again soon - GREAT cookie!

I'm going to make these on Thursday and bring them to a Christmas party for homeless women and kids. Thanks!

I made a double batch (HUGE amount!!), and they were truly delicious, and it's true, they magically disappear. I have questions: what is the quantity of vanilla? Was I correct in measuring the cornflakes first and then crushing them? I used unsweetened coconut, was that correct? Whether I did it right or not, they were fabulous, both raw and baked.
