I tried my own slant on this recipe last night with almost perfect results.
My main was baked sea bass with chilli butter so thought i would substitute the chicken stock with fish stock and add a bashed stalk of lemon grass during cooking.
Turned out excellent, even my mother was impressed, result!
    Thank you for the idea.

I have now made this so many ways. Instant rice cups, chicken flavored w/ ginger fresh or dried, for a quick fix. Boil Bags in broth/stock w/ fresh or dried ginger, for an easy fix. And the recommended way, according to the recipe. All come out awesome. This is the only way to make rice. I don't even remember the last time I had "Boring, White, Rice." I hope I never will. TY.

This looks really good. I love that ginger flavor in asian dishes and basmati rice is my favorite.

I made this last night to have w/ my lunch today. Very qick and easy to make, and it was AWESOME!
This will be a standard for me.

Note: I was out of fresh ginger, but really wanted to make it, so I subsituted ground ginger. As great as it was w/ a dried spice, I can't wait to make it w/ fresh ginger. I know it will be OUTSTANDING!
