Quite good, it somehow mixed mom's potroast and dad's onion-beer brats

Just to add a little color, and a dash more of flavour, I added a tsp of Gravy Master.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2008
A brand new year 2008 is here,
Open your heart and be of good cheer.
A year full of promise and good things to come.
In your list of resolutions, let good deeds be one.
Help one another and give of your love,
for that will be pleasing to the Father above.
I, the Lord, am bound when ye do what I say,
But when you do not what I say you have no Promise

Yummy, This recipe sounds wonderful. I'll have to try it soon before the weather gets too hot to have the oven on that long. Easy and great tasting, thats my type of recipe!

Well, of course someone from Upstate NY understands the beauty of beef, beer and onions, especially since the recipe allows for 4 oz. from the can of beer for the cook ;-) This was very simple, very fragrant, fork tender and most delicious over a bed of egg noodles. See my alteration is below.

Definitely have to try this - I've never been very good with round steak so I'm very hopeful. :)
