Ingredients
  • 1 venison steak 1 1/2 inches thick
  • butter
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 full glass sherry

Directions
  1. Heat a nice saucepan on stove
  2. add butter and allow to melt
  3. add seasoning
  4. add venison
  5. cook 2 minutes on one side
  6. turn over
  7. cook slowly a few minutes on other side
  8. five minutes before taking off heat
  9. pour in 1 full glass of sherry
  10. 1 tbsp currant jelly
