You got it. Potato chips makes this cookie very unusual. It is so good but there is no way you would never think there are potato chips in them.

These were my FAVOURITE cookies when I was in elementary school (we left out the nuts and put in chocolate chips instead). My former teacher said this recipe tasted exactly the same as the one our home-ec teacher made at Halloween.

This sounds great and sounds similar to a recipe I'm about to post! The sweet and salty thing going on!

Caught an episode of Unwrapped (Food Network) where a company was making cookies with potato chips in them and thought to myself...I have got to try that (I love sweet/salty foods). They aren't sold here, of course (::sad face::) lol but now I can try them! Thanks so much for the post!! Can't wait to make them!! :)

Hi. I have a question. For the vanilla ingredient, do you mean vanilla extract, or vanilla flavoring? I'm very new to cooking, and I've read there's a difference between the two (who knew??). Please let me know and thanks for sharing your recipe. I'd like to make these this weekend. :-)
