Easiest Ever Butter Pecan Cookies Recipe

How to make it

  • In a small mixing bowl, cream butter and pudding mix.
  • Gradually beat in flour.
  • Fold in pecans.
  • Roll into 1 1/2 inch balls.
  • Place 2 inches apart on greased baking sheets; flatten to 1/2 inch thick with a greased glass.
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 10-13 minutes until lightly golden brown.
  • Remove and cool on wire racks.

    Excellent cookie recipes should be extremely difficult and complex; sufficiently so, in fact, that they intimidate us so much that we won't even try them.... so that we can ALL keep our New Year's Resolutions :)

    I like the butterscotch best because it tastes like a buttery shortbread....to be honest I've never tried a different flavor, but maybe chocolate would be good.
