How to make it

  • DRAIN PICKLES AND EMPTY JAR
  • LAYER SUGAR, GARLIC AND PICKLES IN JAR
  • REPEAT 3 TO 4 TIMES
  • POUR HOT SAUCE OVER PICKLES
  • SECURE LID AND REFRIGERATE
  • TURN JAR FROM TOP TO BOTTOM EVERY DAY FOR A WEEK
  • EAT

    My sister-in-law told me she received a small jar of these for Christmas and said they are excellent! I plan on making some for gifts this year. Thanks for posting this recipe!

    Make these all the time, but I put a real habenero pricked all over with a fork buried in the middle of the pickle layers and let it naturally make the others hotter! Plus the crushed red pepper flakes that I add with the sugar layers. One of my favorite preparations ever.....love it with a wheat cracker and a piece of cheddar. My guilty pleasure treat. (They are great chopped up and added to tuna salad too.)
