Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat over to 350 degrees F
  • Grease and flour 9 inch round pan
  • In a medium bowl cream together butter, sugar until light and fluffy
  • Beat in the eggs next one at a time
  • Stir in vanilla
  • next combine flour, baking powder, and salt, stir into batter
  • alternating with the milk
  • If the batter is stiff add just a little more milk.
  • Spread batter evenly into pan
  • Bake for 30 to 35 minutes
  • cool in pan on wire rack then turn out onto serving plate
  • dust with powdered sugar lightly

Ready to Eat   Close

    Do you think I could replace the milk with light soy milk? I want to make this right now but ran out of milk and don't want to run to the store. Feeling lazy but inspired enough to bake this cake which I REALLY REALLY want to eat!
