How to make it

  • Cream butter and 1 cup of sugar
  • Add eggs and beat well
  • Add dry ingredients alternating with the milk
  • Fold in Blueberries
  • Put in prepared loaf pan
  • Bake at 350 for approximately 65 minutes
  • Cool 10 minutes, remove from pan, poke holes all over with a skewer
  • Combine reserved 1/3 C sugar and lemon juice and brush over cake until completely used
  • 12 servings
