A Different Dog Recipe

Ingredients

One large onion (or two medium), chopped

One tablespoon oil

2 cups ketchup

1/4 cup mustard

1/2 cup pickle relish

2 tablespoons worchestershire sauce

4 tablespoons brown sugar

dash of hot sauce

Package of eight hotdogs

Directions

In a sauce pan, saute chopped onion in oil until slightly softened;

Add in ketchup, mustard, pickle relish, worchestershire, brown sugar, and hot sauce;

Simmer for five minutes;

Add hotdogs to mixture and simmer for 10 more minutes;

Serve hotdogs on warmed buns.

(I sometimes add a can of chopped sour kraut, drained, to the mix and it's really good!)
