A Different Dog

Just thinking about all those Super Bowl goodies I plan to make and I dragged out this old recipe for hotdogs.
Ingredients
- One large onion (or two medium), chopped shopping list
- One tablespoon oil shopping list
- 2 cups ketchup shopping list
- 1/4 cup mustard shopping list
- 1/2 cup pickle relish shopping list
- 2 tablespoons worchestershire sauce shopping list
- 4 tablespoons brown sugar shopping list
- dash of hot sauce shopping list
- Package of eight hotdogs shopping list
How to make it
- In a sauce pan, saute chopped onion in oil until slightly softened;
- Add in ketchup, mustard, pickle relish, worchestershire, brown sugar, and hot sauce;
- Simmer for five minutes;
- Add hotdogs to mixture and simmer for 10 more minutes;
- Serve hotdogs on warmed buns.
- (I sometimes add a can of chopped sour kraut, drained, to the mix and it's really good!)
